About
Drawn2Security is a library of security concepts, each one explained in a single hand-drawn sketch. Sketchplanations, for cyber security.
It exists because most security explanation sits at one of two extremes. Either it is a vendor page that tells you nothing, or it is a standard written for people who already understand it. There is very little in between that a curious person can read in thirty seconds and come away actually knowing something.
The sketches are the thing. If a drawing needs a paragraph underneath to make sense, the drawing has not done its job and gets redrawn.
Who makes it
It is a personal project by Aaron Ormerod, a security engineer and architect. Twenty years across critical national infrastructure, industrial control, telecoms, defence, med-tech and finance, most of it now on AI security and governance.
Start with the subjects, or go straight to everything.
