Endpoint isolation buys investigation time
Isolation converts an urgent problem into a contained one.
Once the machine cannot reach anything, the pressure to act immediately drops and you can investigate properly rather than reacting. It is also reversible, which makes it a low-cost decision compared with rebuilding, and that combination makes it the right default when something looks wrong.
