Secure coding

Careful coding removes implementation flaws. It does nothing about architectural ones.

You can write a perfectly implemented feature that should never have been built that way. No amount of input validation fixes a design where the client is trusted to decide pricing. It is necessary and it operates at one level, which is why design review sits above it rather than beside it.
