Cloud concentration

When most organisations depend on a handful of providers, a single provider failure becomes a systemic event.

It is not an argument against cloud, which is on balance more reliable than what it replaced. It is a reason regulators have become interested, and a reason that "we will fail over" needs examining when the thing that failed is shared with your alternative, your suppliers and your customers.
