With software as a service, running the infrastructure stops being your problem. Nearly everything else stays your problem.

Who has an account, what they can reach, how it is configured, what it is connected to and what data you have put in it are all yours, and they are where the incidents happen. The provider secures the platform. Nobody but you is going to notice that a departed employee still has access, or that a sharing setting makes a folder public to anyone with the link.
