Dependency mapping

Most organisations learn what depends on what during an incident.

The map exists only in people's heads, distributed across teams, and no single person has it. That is manageable until the moment you need to decide what to restore first or what is safe to turn off. Building it deliberately is tedious and is the input to almost every resilience decision.
