Cloud misconfiguration

Cloud platforms make powerful things easy to switch on, including the ones you did not mean to.

A single setting can make storage public, grant an account broad rights or open a network path. There is no warning proportional to the consequence, and the person making the change is often prototyping. Most cloud incidents are not exploits; they are somebody enabling something in a hurry.
