Multi-cloud

Running in more than one cloud reduces dependence on one provider and multiplies everything else.

Two identity models, two network models, two sets of tooling, two sets of expertise, and security controls that must be implemented twice and will diverge. It is a legitimate answer to concentration risk and a large cost, and it is frequently adopted for resilience reasons that a second region would have addressed more cheaply.
