Redundancy

Two of something only helps if both do not fail for the same reason.

Two servers in one rack, on one power feed, with one configuration and one certificate, are not two of anything for most of the failures that actually occur. Redundancy that shares a dependency is redundancy against hardware faults only, which is the failure mode organisations are already best protected against.
