Security burnout
Sustained alert volume, on-call load and the expectation of vigilance produce burnout at a rate the field does not acknowledge.
It is also a security problem rather than only a welfare one: tired analysts miss things, experienced people leave, and institutional knowledge goes with them. Alert tuning and realistic on-call arrangements are operational controls as much as they are staff care.
